چکیده
Definition 1. (directly density-reachable): A point p is directly density-reachable from a point q wrt. Eps, MinPts if 1. p ∈ NEps(q) and 2. |NEps(q)| ≥MinPts NEps(q) represents the Eps-neighborhood of the point q which includes all points whose distance to the point q is less than or equal to Eps. From the statement (2), it can be understood that there is a cluster if and only if there is a core point.

An Efficient Secret Sharing-based Storage System for Cloud-based Internet of Things
Internet of things (IoTs) is the newfound information architecture based on the internet that develops interactions between objects and services in a secure and reliable environment. As the availability of many smart devices rises, secure and scalable mass storage systems for aggregate data is required in IoTs applications. In this paper, we propose a new method for storing aggregate data in Io...
متن کاملScalable Density-Based Distributed Clustering
Clustering has become an increasingly important task in analysing huge amounts of data. Traditional applications require that all data has to be located at the site where it is scrutinized. Nowadays, large amounts of heterogeneous, complex data reside on different, independently working computers which are connected to each other via local or wide area networks. In this paper, we propose a scal...
متن کاملRisk-based Dynamic Access Control for a Highly Scalable Cloud Federation
Cloud Computing is already a successful paradigm for distributed computing and is still growing in popularity. However, many problems still linger in the application of this model and some new ideas are emerging to help leverage its features even further. One of these ideas is the cloud federation, which is a way of aggregating different clouds to enable the sharing of resources and increase sc...
متن کاملData Replication-Based Scheduling in Cloud Computing Environment
Abstract— High-performance computing and vast storage are two key factors required for executing data-intensive applications. In comparison with traditional distributed systems like data grid, cloud computing provides these factors in a more affordable, scalable and elastic platform. Furthermore, accessing data files is critical for performing such applications. Sometimes accessing data becomes...
متن کاملRobust Execution of Processes and Management of Heterogeneous Knowledge in Collective Adaptive Systems
The recent advances in pervasive and mobile computing have paved the way for Collective Adaptive Systems (CAS). The vision of such systems is to enable a network of heterogeneous computing nodes, ranging from highly mobile smart phones to cloud servers, to collaborate in order to benefit from synergistic effects. The core of CAS is the robust and collaborative execution of processes across syst...
